Cork Shelter

Concept for a prefabricated shelter in cork used for temporary stay in natural areas of high biological value as an alternative to the current solutions used by professionals and lovers of eco-tourism. The main concerns of the design are the landscape impact and the ecological footprint left by the structure, as well as the versatility of the appropriation and documentation of the surrounding environment, which change with the shape of the object itself.
Conceito para abrigo pré-fabricado em cortiça destinado à permanência temporária em espaços naturais de elevado valor biológico. Alternativa às soluções correntes utilizadas por profissionais e amantes do eco-turismo. O desenho tem por principais preocupações o impacto paisagístico e a pegada ecológica deixada pela estrutura, assim como a versatilidade da apropriação e registo do meio envolvente, que se alteram com a própria forma do objecto.
